Hot Die Steel

The Hot Die Steel enables the hot-forming of work-pieces made of iron and non-ferrous metals as well as alloy derivatives at high temperatures. Hot forging can be used to manufacture small and precise parts as well as a variety of long product shapes. They contain additions of chromium, tungsten, vanadium and molybdenum to provide deep hardening characteristics and resistance to abrasion and thermal softening at high temperatures. It is also used for hot tooling applications thanks to its excellent resistance to cracking, including thermal fatigue cracking. The offered Hot Die Steel is made for use in the various industrial applications.
