Case Hardening Steel

The Case Hardening Steel is offered by us that is formed by diffusing carbon (carburization), nitrogen (nitriding) and/or boron (boriding) into the outer layer of the steel at high temperature, and then heat treating the surface layer to the desired hardness. Case, or surface, hardening increases the surface strength of metal without impacting the inner core of the part. Case hardening is a material processing method that is used to increase the hardness of the outer surface of a metal. Case hardening steel is normally used to increase the object life. The Case Hardening Steel is made for industrial uses.
